Blue Nile is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient management of our inventory. The candidate will be responsible for handling various inventory-related tasks, from owning the inventory purchasing process to creating ad-hoc reporting, and will work closely with external vendors to maintain the highest standards of quality control.

***This role is a Seasonal role with Full-Time Hours of at least 40-hours weekly. There is potential for overtime availability. You will be supporting our Inventory Team during our Peak Holiday Season approximately September through February.

Responsibilities

  • Create and monitor inventory trackers and reports to ensure optimal inventory levels and leadership visibility.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams to create and place asset inventory purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with external vendors to track and manage open purchase orders until fulfillment.
  • Intake and process purchase orders into inventory.
  • Document and communicate feedback from internal and external quality control teams to external vendors during intake process.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, and advanced formatting techniques.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail in all aspects of inventory management.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent Follow-Through: Strong commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time.
  • Inventory Experience Preferred: Prior experience in inventory management is highly desirable.
  • Luxury Industry Experience Preferred: Experience within the luxury sector, particularly in jewelry, is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Benefits

Base pay range: $24-$26 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
