Job Summary And Responsibilities
As our Monitor Tech, you will be responsible for continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes.
Every day you will meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate sharp observational skills, a thorough understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly and precisely under pressure, crucial for patient safety and timely intervention.
- Prepares chart for admits.
- Prepares chart packets for unit use.
- Maintains chart in proper, complete order.
- Adds forms, as required.
- Places reports on charts.
Required
- High School Graduate or equivalent technical training
- Hospital/medical terminology experience
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Preferred
- Experience in an acute setting

$25.00 - $31.40 /hour
