Job Description

• Primary functions of the Offal Room Attendant are to monitor the flow of offal and feathers to the trailers and ensure that all Slaughter/feathers dewatering screens are kept free of excess debris or build up
• Indicate the major day-to-day problems you encounter, the solutions to these problems, and the actions you take independently
• Communicate with your supervisor regarding work assignment or problems
• Occasional communication with outside carriers on offal or feather trailer issues

Qualifications

• Good communication, interpersonal skills and working well with others
• Using a power hose
• Recording trailer conditions on offal log
