Construction Inspector at Fenstermaker

The Construction Inspector ensures construction projects adhere to contract plans and specifications, quantity calculations and pay quantity submittals. The Construction Inspector will be a champion and leader of our company core values, while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction. Full-Time, Part-Time, and per project positions available in Lafayette, LA or Lake Charles, LA .

• Working on complex, large job sites during all critical phases of construction
• Preparing and maintaining project reports, quantity tabulations, weather and workday form reports
• Assisting in preparing payments to contractor
• Maintaining a supportive and cooperative relationship with the contractor
• Possessing a basic knowledge and familiarity with dealing with the public, clients, survey crew, and testing laboratories

Am I qualified for this position?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Preferred: Five (5) years of directly related industry experience
• Preferred: DOTD certifications in Embankment & Base Course, Asphalt Concrete Paving, and PCC Paving
