The position?
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Lead for one of our communities, Hartland Station – a 131-unit multifamily community located in Atlanta, GA.
What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Maintenance Lead?
Responsibilities
- In coordination with the Community Manager, the Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies and preventive maintenance for the community.
- Under direction of the Community Manager, supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community and service staff
- Coordinate, schedule and respond to resident/management requests and service requests for occupied units
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, all major appliances and other systems on community (phone jacks, irrigation systems, etc.)
- Coordinate, schedule and prepare vacant apartments for move-in
- Identify and correct hazardous community conditions
- Coordinate, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and apartments
- Ordering supplies and managing maintenance budget
- Attendance is an essential job function
Other aspects may include:
- May be requested to assist in other areas of the community including office support, etc.
- Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc.
- Responsible for overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 4 years previous, relevant experience in multifamily industry is required
- Certified Apartment Service Technician (CAMT), preferred
- HVAC license required
- CPO license required
- Ability to operate vehicle and driver’s license is required according to community needs
- Light carpentry, drywall repair and texture, and painting
- Must have experience in appliance repair, compressor diagnosis, etc.
- Computer literacy a plus but not required
- Must be adaptable; able to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodation
* Must have certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities (i.e., pool operations, maintenance, electricians, etc.)*
What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?
- The Maintenance Lead position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends. A rotating on-call schedule may be required
- Working conditions will be outside as well as indoors
- Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively complete job requirement
