Project Manager, Microsoft 365 and Cloud Services at Aardwolf Consulting LLC
Aardwolf Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Microsoft 365 and related cloud projects for a major U.S. government client. The Project Manager will oversee planning, requirements, implementation, user acceptance, and transition to operations while coordinating technical teams and government stakeholders to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
You will manage day-to-day delivery primarily in the client’s Jira environment and lead projects involving Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (including Power Apps, Azure Files, Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, and Microsoft Purview). ServiceNow help-desk coordination is a secondary part of the role. The position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week on-site in the Washington, DC client/office location.
The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000, depending on experience.

Core Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Delivery
• Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource assignments, and delivery budgets.
• Jira Delivery Management: Run day-to-day delivery in Jira (epics, tasks, backlogs, priorities, assignments, dependencies, and milestones); keep work items current and use dashboards/reports to communicate progress and blockers.
• Microsoft 365 / Cloud Projects: Lead projects involving the client’s Office 365 / Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Azure Files, Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and related Microsoft services.
• ServiceNow: Occasional coordination of project-related incidents and service requests in ServiceNow with help desk and technical teams when they affect delivery; keep related work visible in Jira.
2. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
• Requirements & Priorities: Partner with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead project meetings and coordinate engineers, administrators, developers, vendors, and business users.
• Risk & Issue Management: Track risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions; assign owners and escalate threats to delivery.
• Scope & Change Control: Manage scope changes and communicate impacts on cost, schedule, staffing, and contract commitments.
3. Reporting, Governance & Transition
• Status Reporting: Report status, spending, accomplishments, and upcoming decisions to client and Aardwolf leadership.
• Security & Governance Coordination: Coordinate with technical and security teams on access controls, data protection, governance, and customer requirements.
• Testing & Deployment: Plan testing, user acceptance, training, communications, and deployment activities.
• Documentation & Handof f: Maintain project documentation and coordinate handoff to support/operations, including known issues and support ownership.
• Contract Deliverables: Track contract deliverables and support accurate reporting of project work and resource use.
Education & Experience
• Experience: Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects through the full delivery lifecycle.
• Jira: Strong hands-on experience using Jira as a primary project management tool (backlog management, work tracking, dashboards, and reporting).
• Core PM Skills: Experience managing schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and changes across multiple stakeholders or workstreams.
• ServiceNow: Working knowledge of ServiceNow help desk ticketing is helpful for coordinating occasional incident/service-request issues with support teams.
Technical Skills
• Microsoft 365 / Office 365: Experience leading projects involving Microsoft 365 or Office 365, with working knowledge of Power Apps, Azure Files, Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, and Microsoft Purview.
• Microsoft Purview: Ex perience leading or supporting Microsoft Purview projects (data governance, compliance, and/or information protection).
• Technical Translation: Ability to discuss technical requirements with implementation teams and explain project decisions to business leaders.
Professional Skills
• Communication: Strong written communication, meeting leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Accountability: Ability to manage competing priorities and hold teams accountable for agreed deliverables.
• On-site Presence: Ability to work in the office at least three days per week (Washington, DC area).
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience delivering projects for government customers or in a government contracting (govcon) environment.
• PMP or a comparable project management credential.
• Experience with Agile, traditional, or blended delivery methods.
• Experience coordinating Microsoft cloud migrations, SharePoint deployments, Power Apps solutions, Microsoft Copilot adoption, or Microsoft Purview initiatives.
• Experience with organizational change management, user training, and adoption planning.
• Experience with Zix email encryption.
