Occupational Therapy Assistant at Azza HealthCare Agency

Role Overview: Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages within an interdisciplinary framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise positions such as students, volunteers, and observers.
• Develop and execute patient-specific therapy plans following accepted practices.
• Assist with patient care, including physical activities and mobility support.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective equipment and handling hazardous materials.
• Adjust activities based on patient needs and activity conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Physical strength to lift, push, or pull loads up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient mobility, stamina, and endurance for frequent location and position changes.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and may require irregular hours.
• Willingness to wear protective gear and work in potentially hazardous environments.
• Physical activities include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.

Visual & Hearing Requirements

• Must be able to see with corrective eyewear.
• Must be able to hear clearly with assistance.

Additional Conditions
