The DevOps Engineer must be a strong team player, translating complicated technical challenges and setups into understandable content as part of problem-solving. You are an essential contact and sparring partner for colleagues from Product, Application Development and IT Operations, among others.
You'll be contributing to a variety of projects, while developing your skills and reaching new levels of expertise.
You will be responsible for:
- You are significantly responsible for the secure cloud setup and the operation (incl. monitoring) of our digital products.
- You are responsible for the administration (processes, users, etc.) of our solutions and consistently develop the architecture in the Azure Cloud with a focus on high operational stability.
- You manage and release code and system resources in versions using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, as well as optimization & automation of the (CI/CD) processes.
- You analyze and solve malfunctions in live operations on your responsibility.
- Support the team in error analysis and problem-solving.
- You would stand out with more profound knowledge of different Azure services and knowledge in cloud security.
Requirements
- Education/Studies: You have completed an IT specialist apprenticeship or a degree in (business or technical) IT.
- Professional experience: You have several years (3+) of experience in application support and software development in the context of a DevOps activity.
- Your technology stack: You have experience with standard CI/CD tools, scripting (e.g., YAML, Terraform), methods, processes, and Docker & Kubernetes.
- You communicate fluently in English with international colleagues.
- Soft skills: You have strong analytical skills, and a very high quality-awareness, are used to conceptual work, and are enthusiastic about agile environments, DevOps principles, and automation.
