Material Handler – Steel/Bar Stock

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $17.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Training: First-shift training required before transitioning to 2nd shift

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler – Steel/Bar Stock to join our client's manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position involves moving, organizing, and preparing steel and bar stock materials while following safety and production guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have previous overhead crane experience, be comfortable working with heavy materials, and know how to accurately read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to move and position steel and bar stock.
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials.
• Read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Follow work orders and production instructions.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Perform other material-handling duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous overhead crane experience required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors or in an industrial environment as required.
• Must be willing to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift.
• This is for a second chance company.
