Property Operations Runner at Hallson Hospitality

Date: 13 hours ago
City: Nashville, TN
Contract type: Full time

Hallson Hospitality Co. manages 150+ short-term rental properties across Nashville. Our guest experience depends on things happening on the ground, not just on a screen. The Property Operations Runner is that on-the-ground presence: the person who shows up with a trunk full of supplies, shops for and stocks a fridge before check-in, remakes a bed after a late cancellation, sets up a surprise for a guest's celebration, and handles whatever last-minute request keeps a property guest-ready.

This role reports into Operations and works closely with the Guest Experience and Cleaning Vendor Coordination teams to keep properties turnover-ready and guests taken care of in real time.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision once given a task list
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through — guests are often waiting
  • Physically able to lift and carry supplies, linens, and small furniture items
  • Organized and detail-oriented — small misses (wrong fridge item, unmade bed) affect guest reviews
  • Comfortable communicating with guests directly and professionally via text message
  • Familiar with, or willing to learn, Nashville neighborhoods and traffic patterns
  • Comfortable using a phone for task management, photo documentation, and quick communication
  • Prior experience in hospitality, delivery, property services, grocery shopping/errand services, or a similar hands-on role is a plus, but not required

What You'll Do

Fridge Stocking & Fill-Your-Fridge Requests

  • Receive grocery lists from the Guest Experience team for guest fill-your-fridge requests
  • Personally shop for all listed items, sourcing substitutions when something is unavailable
  • Communicate directly with guests by text message to confirm any replacement items or substitutions
  • Stock the home according to the guest's order and each property's standard supply list
  • Submit final receipts to the Guest Experience team so the guest can be accurately charged

Guest Celebrations & Service Recovery

  • Set up celebrations for guests ahead of arrival, such as balloons and a cake staged in the home
  • Deliver treats like cupcakes, doughnuts, or cookies for service recovery moments

General Restocking & In-Stay Support

  • Stock and restock guest fridges and welcome amenities ahead of check-in, following each property's standard supply list
  • Deliver items to guests during their stay: replacement linens, extra toiletries, chargers, cribs, or anything flagged by Guest Experience
  • Remake beds, tidy up, or handle light touch-ups between cleanings when a property needs a quick reset

Operational Support

  • Pick up and drop off supplies between properties, storage units, and vendors
  • Respond to same-day or next-hour requests from Operations, GX, or the Cleaning Vendor Coordinator
  • Report property condition issues, maintenance needs, or missing items back to the team
  • Keep a personal vehicle stocked and organized with core supplies to minimize response time
  • Follow property access protocols (lockboxes, smart locks) accurately and securely
