Asset Move Project Manager II (Relocation PM) at The Greenridge Group

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking an experienced Asset Move Project Manager II (Relocation PM) to support the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) with Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E), relocation, and move-management activities for new, renovated, and swing-space projects.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage and coordinate FF&E and relocation activities throughout the project lifecycle, including:

• Manage FF&E programming, budgeting, specifications, procurement coordination, scheduling, installation, and punch-list activities.
• Plan and coordinate relocations, move scopes, swing spaces, and move-in activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects/engineers, contractors, campus representatives, user groups, procurement teams, vendors, and movers.
• Develop and track FF&E and move budgets and schedules.
• Review architectural, furniture, design, and construction documents to ensure FF&E requirements are properly coordinated.
• Coordinate the reuse and relocation of existing furniture and equipment.
• Support procurement of furniture, equipment, movers, and specialty contractors.
• Coordinate FF&E deliveries, installation logistics, asset tagging, and disposition of surplus equipment.
• Maintain project documentation and support FF&E and relocation closeout activities.
• Provide project status reports and help ensure successful, functional occupancy of completed spaces.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant project management/coordination experience involving areas such as relocation/move management, project management, interior design, facilities management, or FF&E coordination/procurement.
• Candidates without a four-year degree may qualify with 11–14 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
• Knowledge of furniture/equipment specifications and procurement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
• Ability and flexibility to work at various LACCD colleges and project sites throughout the Los Angeles area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational and Public Works experience.
• Procurement, FF&E sourcing or asset management experience.
• Knowledge/proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Proficiency in VIsio or Design software.
• Interior Design Certification CID, CCIDQ
• Membership with IIDA, AIA, IFMA, LEED Certified.
