Teacher of the Deaf - $85 per hour at Boston Speech Therapy

In this role, you will help students build communication skills that support learning, confidence, and participation in the school environment. You will play an important part in shaping individualized care, partnering closely with families and school-based collaborators, and contributing to a clinical approach that values both strong outcomes and strong therapist support.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education of the Deaf or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf License.
- Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of auditory-verbal techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

Benefits
- $80-85 per hour
- Hybrid option available
- 2 x 45 minute sessions weekly
- 1 - 30 minute consult a week which can be virtual
- 1099 Contract
- 20 children per caseload plus consults across several schools
