About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced

Facilities Electrical Technician to support a high-tech, advanced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving critical electrical power distribution systems that keep facility operations running safely and reliably.

You will support both low- and medium-voltage infrastructure while working across preventive maintenance, emergency response, construction, commissioning, and ongoing facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, breakers, transformers, UPS systems, and emergency generators.
• Inspect grounding systems, bonding conductors, cable trays, bus ducts, and protective devices.
• Conduct electrical testing including insulation resistance, continuity checks, torque verification, load measurements, and IR thermography.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment such as meggers and clamp meters.
• Troubleshoot power circuits, motor circuits, relays, breakers, and distribution equipment.
• Respond to power disturbances, trips, and electrical emergencies.
• Support conduit installation, wiring, cable pulls, junction boxes, receptacles, breakers, and panels.
• Assist with construction, startup, commissioning, shutdowns, load transfers, and power restoration.
• Follow NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA, arc-flash, PPE, and LOTO requirements.
• Maintain panel schedules, breaker lists, maintenance records, and CMMS documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems under 600V
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel schedules
• Proficiency with electrical test instruments
• CMMS experience

Preferred: Journeyman license or equivalent certification,

4kV–15kV medium-voltage experience, NFPA 70E training, or semiconductor/manufacturing/data-center experience.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at elevation or in confined spaces, and wear required respiratory and Category 4 arc-flash PPE.
