Senior Construction Project Manager at MAAS Companies

Date: 1 hour ago
City: Long Beach, CA
Contract type: Full time

California State University, Long Beach is renovating and expanding its University Student Union, a $235 million project delivered through collaborative design-build, where one team designs and builds the project and works through the design with the University. The project runs from July 2024 to July 2028. It renovates 180,000 gross square feet of the existing building, including 160,000 square feet of indoor space and 20,000 square feet of covered outdoor walkways and seating, and adds 50,000 gross square feet of new space. You guide stakeholder design decisions to keep the scope within the approved budget, coordinate value engineering, and take the design submittals through review by CSU Capital Planning, Design and Construction and the CSU Board of Trustees. You also obtain the plan reviews the project needs before bidding and keep the project in compliance with every agency that approves or inspects the work.

Why MAAS

MAAS has spent nearly 40 years earning the trust of 50+ educational institutions across California, managing over $10B in projects. That track record means the work here is stable, funded, and consequential. You are not chasing the next contract.

As a MAAS employee, you are also an owner. The company is 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, a retirement benefit provided at no cost to you, on top of your salary. MAAS is a profitable, well-run organization and our share price has more than doubled since the plan's inception, with continued growth year over year.
