Regular Mechanic at Okie Staffing

Schedule: Monday–Friday 7am-4pm

Pay Rate: DOE 16.00 to $18.00

Overtime: Required as needed

Okie Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Regular Mechanic to join our client's maintenance team. In this role, you will perform general repair and maintenance work on a variety of vehicles and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking to work in a supportive environment with a consistent schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on automotive and light equipment
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts, including brakes, suspension, and engines
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and service histories
• Order parts and maintain inventory as needed
• Follow safety standards and company protocols
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve mechanical issues efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in automotive or light equipment repair
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems accurately and efficiently
• Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
