About the Role: Banquet Barback

As our Banquet Barback, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and resetting tables, chairs, glassware, silverware, napkins, and other dining supplies.
• Clear and clean tables, bar areas, and service stations promptly and efficiently.
• Assist servers and bartenders with food and beverage service, including running items to guests.
• Replenish glassware, plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies throughout service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary guest and service areas in accordance with hotel standards.
• Transport and properly handle dirty dishes, glassware, trays, and service equipment.
• Support the team during high-volume periods, special events, and guest functions as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous, and attentive support to guests and the Gallery Bar team while following all hotel safety and sanitation standards.

Technical / Role-Specific Requirements

• Previous restaurant, bar, banquet, or hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage service and table-setting standards.
• Ability to safely handle and transport plates, glassware, trays, and service equipment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest and service areas.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills when supporting servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, and push/pull equipment for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, with a professional and guest-focused approach.
