Position Overview

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill openings with a skilled care facility located in Queens, New York. This per-diem position in long-term care is ideal for a dedicated LPN with nursing home or hospital experience who is passionate about providing quality care to residents in a skilled care setting.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Must have an active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. LPN Registration required.
• Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a nursing home or hospital setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and documentation using electronic or paper systems.
• Required Documentation:
• Driver's License or Passport or Green Card and SSN Card
• COVID Vaccination Card
• MMRV Results (Mumps, Measles, Rubella, and Varicella)
• Physical Assessment
• CPR Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to implement care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and facility protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and provide timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
