Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the organization's people strategy and serve as a trusted partner to executive and operational leadership. This individual will oversee core HR functions while developing programs that support employee engagement, growth, and long-term business objectives.

This is a hands-on Director of Human Resources opportunity for an experienced HR professional who can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations.

Director Of Human Resources Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's HR strategy, policies, and programs.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
• Drive engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives.
• Manage HR systems, reporting, processes, and workforce metrics.
• Lead and develop the HR team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience within union environments highly desired.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Broad experience across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
