- Can maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What You'll Do
- Receive deliveries of catering items from our food partner/delivery partners
- Heat and finish meals in the oven, garnishing according to chef's specifications
- Present and serve food in a clean and organized manner
- Educate customers & professionally answer food related questions
- Assist Porter/Barista with coffee grinding and brewing equipment when necessary
- Maintain careful inventory of all food products/orders
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, maintaining supplies, assisting Barista with performing preventive maintenance.
- Stocking and restocking of snack products.
- Quality Assurance of all food and beverage items
- service 3 Coffee machines, 4 Water/ice machines, helping manage the micro market--accepting orders & stocking products
Requirements
- Previous Hospitality, culinary, food prep experience and proven track record of success
- Possess a Serv Safe Manager Certificate current Food Handler Card and understand food safety principles
- Meticulous, dependable, organized, forward thinking, initiative-taking, and approachable.
- Comfortable learning new tasks and using new tools.
- Accurate problem reporting and resolution
- Careful understanding of products, allergens, and ingredients.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions & request clarification when needed
Benefits
Compensation: $28/hr
