Position Summary
The Groundskeeper provides skilled assistant services to maintain the grounds and athletic fields of North Park University
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist Head Groundskeeper in the care and maintenance of all campus grounds and athletic fields.
- Available on weekends and evenings when directed by Head Groundskeeper for snow removal.
- Supervision of student workers when necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance of all grounds equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations.
- Assist in keeping shop and working areas safe and clean.
- Helps in other areas of Physical Plant maintenance when called or needed.
Requirements
- Have some prior grounds-keeping experience.
- Be able to drive pick-up truck, operate snowplow, operate bobcat trailer when needed for snow plowing or general campus use.
- Be able to operate all mechanical equipment pertaining to grounds such as lift on stake truck, compactor and scaffolding.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a clean driving record.
Salary Range: $35,000 - $38,000 per year
