Date: 1 hour ago
City: Las Vegas, NV
Contract type: Full time

Help Operate the Future of Transportation

We’re looking for a Mission Control Associate to join a fast-paced operations center supporting a fleet of autonomous vehicles.

This role is similar to air traffic control for autonomous vehicles. You’ll monitor vehicles and service operations in real time, identify issues, coordinate with internal teams, and help ensure vehicles and passengers are supported when something unexpected happens.

If you enjoy technology, real-time problem solving, and working in an environment where your decisions matter, this could be a great opportunity to build experience in the rapidly evolving autonomous mobility industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor autonomous vehicles and fleet operations using multiple computer systems.
  • Perform pre-shift checks and ensure systems and operations are ready for service.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic vehicle and operational issues.
  • Respond to real-time incidents and determine the appropriate next steps.
  • Create, document, and escalate tickets when additional support is needed.
  • Coordinate with internal operations, technical, and field teams to resolve issues.
  • Dispatch response teams when a vehicle requires assistance.
  • Monitor road conditions, traffic events, closures, and other factors that may affect service.
  • Apply temporary operational restrictions when conditions require them.
  • Follow issues through resolution and communicate updates to the appropriate teams.
  • Make timely decisions while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational continuity.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in candidates who have experience in environments such as:

  • Operations or dispatch
  • Command centers or control rooms
  • Fleet, logistics, or transportation
  • Autonomous vehicles or mobility technology
  • Emergency response or incident management
  • Security operations
  • Service or customer operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical support or troubleshooting
  • Resource coordination or field-team dispatch

You don't need to have worked with autonomous vehicles before. Experience working in a real-time operational environment, monitoring multiple systems, coordinating resources, and solving problems is highly valuable.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work full-time and on-site
  • Valid in-state driver's license with 3 consecutive years of licensure
  • Ability to successfully complete a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and multiple software systems
  • Ability to make decisions and take action in real time
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fleet, transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations
  • Command center, control room, or monitoring experience
  • Experience responding to incidents or operational disruptions
  • Experience coordinating field personnel or mobile resources
  • Technical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working with ticketing, dispatch, or incident-management systems
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, mobility, or other technology-driven operations

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

You stay calm when things get busy.

You can manage several issues at once without losing attention to detail.

You communicate clearly.

You can quickly explain what’s happening, what you need, and who needs to be involved.

You take ownership.

You don't simply pass a problem along—you follow it through and make sure it gets addressed.

You’re comfortable with technology.

You can learn new systems quickly and move between multiple tools while maintaining accuracy.

You use good judgment.

You understand when to act independently and when an issue needs to be escalated.

Benefits

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, transportation, and real-time operations.

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting autonomous vehicle operations while working alongside teams responsible for keeping a complex, technology-driven service running safely and efficiently.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and staying composed when the unexpected happens, we'd like to hear from you.
