Cook Position at Temps of North America

We are seeking reliable and experienced Cooks for temporary and ongoing assignments throughout the Boston area. Cooks will prepare and cook meals in fast-paced, high-volume food service environments while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and client requirements.

Ensure that food is prepared and served safely, accurately, and on time.

Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, prep staff, and other kitchen team members.

Maintain clean and organized workstations.

Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Assist with food preparation, storage, and kitchen setup as needed.

Support daily meal service, special events, and other food service operations.

Requirements

Previous cooking experience, preferably in hospitality, institutional dining, catering, or another high-volume kitchen environment.

Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.

Ability to follow food safety and handling procedures.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to follow recipes and instructions.

Show up on time ready to work, punctual, and professional.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when needed.
