The Business Operations Analyst supports reliable reporting, accurate data, and continuous process improvement. The role updates and validates data used in Power BI dashboards, maintains Excel working files and trackers, and partners with stakeholders to identify and deliver practical process automation opportunities. The successful candidate will bring strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, ownership, organization, and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Update, validate, and maintain data used in Power BI dashboards and recurring business reports
- Refresh and maintain Excel working files, trackers, data models, and supporting documentation
- Perform data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with relevant stakeholders
- Support reporting enhancements by gathering requirements, testing updates, and documenting changes
- Participate in process automation conversations, identify repetitive or manual activities, and help translate business needs into workable solutions
- Assist with testing, implementation, and adoption of automation improvements, and help monitor whether delivered solutions achieve the intended results
- Prepare clear analyses, summaries, and recommendations for business partners and leadership
- Maintain organized files, consistent processes, and accurate documentation to support continuity and auditability
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate progress, risks, and issues in a timely manner
- Support HR in identifying and resolving discrepancies in employee records and maintaining accurate employee mapping.
- Handle business data responsibly and follow applicable data-governance and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, data analytics, information systems, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, and working with structured datasets
- Working knowledge of Power BI and an understanding of dashboard data-refresh and validation processes
- Ability to analyze information, recognize patterns, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings clearly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with appropriate guidance

Pay may range from $30.00 to $32.00 hourly
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits. In addition, paid time off is offered to be used for vacation, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. Full-Time salaried employees are entitled to flexible time-off.
