Gas Fireplace Installer at California Mantel & Fireplace Inc.

As a Fireplace Installer, you'll bring our customers' new fireplaces to life — from gas and electric units to inserts, mantels, and surrounds. You'll work with our install crew, showroom sales team, and scheduling office to get each job done right, safely, and on time.

This is a hands-on field role. Every day is a little different: one day a clean insert swap, the next a full mantel and stone surround build-out.

Responsibilities

· Install gas and electric fireplaces

· Install fireplace gas inserts into existing fireplaces

· Install mantels and surrounds

· Install and connect venting systems

· Load and unload trucks with units, materials, and tools

· Keep job sites clean, protected, and safe — before, during, and after the install

· Work closely with showroom sales and scheduling to coordinate jobs

· Follow safety practices and manufacturer installation specs on every job

· Do occasional customer walkthroughs to review the work and answer questions

Requirements

· Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record

· Reliable transportation to the shop and job sites

· Able to lift 75+ lbs

· Comfortable working on ladders and in attics and crawl spaces

· Must pass a background check

Nice to have

· Construction, trades, or appliance installation experience (preferred)

· Gas line or gas appliance experience

· Bilingual English/Spanish
