An established and growing food manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help drive reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement within a high-volume production facility.
This newly created position offers the opportunity to take ownership of plant reliability initiatives, lead equipment improvement projects, and work directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.

Description
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on critical production equipment and manufacturing systems
- Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Lead capital and reliability improvement projects from concept through implementation
- Improve equipment uptime, asset performance, and maintenance effectiveness
- Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and leadership teams
- Support spare parts strategy, reliability planning, and process optimization
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and manufacturing best practices
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience focused on reliability, maintenance, or plant engineering
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, ovens, packaging equipment, freezers, or similar processing equipment
- Experience leading equipment improvement and capital projects
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to operational excellence

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$135,000 . This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual bonus.
