Inventory Supervisor at STIIIZY

The Inventory Lead will partner with management to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality assurance of warehouse inventory. Maintains a perpetual inventory of material, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items within the distribution center. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively lead their team to daily demands to be met, without compromising the integrity of the company.

  • Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, internal transfers, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count.
  • Investigates and reports of reasons for discrepancies or adjustments needed by the manager.
  • Prepares reports, such as inventory transfers, internal movements, and shortages.
  • Receives, performs quality checks, and puts away goods. Re-stocks items as necessary.
  • May perform other routine clerical duties, including data entry and assisting associates.
  • Verifying incoming freight and organizing inventory within the distribution center.
  • Arranging products and pallets with the direct and indirect labor workforce within specific areas of the warehouse; as well as maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Communicates regularly with and in coordination with the management in assigning duties to crew members and examining work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to SOP specifications.
  • Ensures proper usage and rotation of inventory according to FIFO methodology.
  • Communicates any deviation, problems or missing product when unloading the trucks.
  • Performs warehouse audits and cycle counts.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
  • Facilitates management responsibilities with or without direct supervision.
  • ERP processing inventory transfers, performing adjustments, reconciling inventory movements, and performing audits.
  • Performing and analyzing METRC transfers and rejections.
  • Review count stock items and record data manually into ERP Systems.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only to the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
  • Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in a lead role preferred.
  • ERP experience is preferred.
  • 2-3 years working in a warehouse/inventory environment.

Other Requirements

  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Available for on-site operations Monday-Friday.
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Ability to operate Reach Forklift and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/orcarry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
