Procon seeks an experienced Technical Trainer / Kahua Helpdesk & System Administrator to support a federal program through technical training, user support, and system administration of the Kahua project management platform in the Las Vegas, NV area. The selected candidate will develop and deliver training materials, provide day-to-day helpdesk support, troubleshoot system issues, manage user access, and assist with system configuration and ongoing improvements. This position requires collaboration with government stakeholders, project teams, and technical personnel to promote effective system adoption, streamline business processes, and ensure efficient platform operations.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Education, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience developing and delivering technical or enterprise software training to adult learners.
- Experience providing helpdesk support, application support, system administration, or software implementation assistance.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Experience developing professional training materials, user guides, knowledge articles, and process documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and work independently in a client-focused environment.
- Ability to meet applicable federal client background investigation, onboarding, and work authorization requirements.
- Direct experience with Kahua, including user administration, system configuration, workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and implementation support is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise software platforms used in capital programs, facilities management, construction, project management, real estate, or asset management is preferred.
- Previous experience supporting federal government clients or projects within regulated environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes, ticketing systems, incident tracking, service requests, and knowledge base administration is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications in technical training, IT service management, project management, system administration, or Kahua is preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop, maintain, and deliver role-based instructor-led, virtual, and self-service training for Kahua end users, power users, and system administrators.
- Create training curricula, job aids, quick-reference guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system documentation, and knowledge-base materials.
- Assess training needs, evaluate effectiveness, gather user feedback, and implement improvements to training programs and materials.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical helpdesk support to Kahua users through established ticketing and escalation procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to user access, navigation, workflows, forms, reports, notifications, data entry, and platform functionality.
- Manage and track support tickets, document resolutions, identify recurring issues, and escalate complex technical or security concerns to appropriate teams or vendors.
- Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, groups, and access requests in accordance with client policies and security requirements.
- Support system configuration, maintenance, and updates, including workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, notifications, and reference data.
- Maintain accurate system administration records, configuration documentation, training records, and helpdesk performance metrics.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify user adoption challenges, improve business processes, and establish ongoing training priorities.
- Support system testing, software updates, release communications, user acceptance testing, and change-management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, cybersecurity standards, records-management policies, accessibility requirements, and client security protocols.
- Perform additional technical training, helpdesk, and system administration duties as assigned to support successful Kahua implementation and ongoing operations.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular onsite presence in an active construction environment. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Walking and standing for extended periods while performing site observations and inspections.
- Navigating active construction areas, including stairs, uneven surfaces, temporary walkways, and varying elevations.
- Occasionally bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing as necessary to observe construction activities.
- Accessing mechanical, electrical, utility, process, and other construction areas as required.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with all applicable site safety requirements.
- Working in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to typical construction-site conditions, including noise, dust, weather, and temperature fluctuations.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
