Family Medicine Physician

Location: Norman, Oklahoma

Job Summary

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. The physician will evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, provide preventive care, and develop individualized treatment plans in a collaborative clinical environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and minor injuries.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Manage urgent care visits and determine appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate patient care with medical assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Family Medicine or Primary Care residency.
• Current, unrestricted Oklahoma medical license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
• Current DEA registration and BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.

Experience

• Open to physicians starting their careers after completing residency, including new graduates.
• Prior clinical experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, on-site position.
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM.
