Facility: A children's hospital in Minneapolis, MN – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)

Hourly Rate: $60.50 (W2)

Shift: Days 7:00AM–7:30PM CT; Nights 7:00PM–7:30AM CT

Duration: 12 hours

Orientation: Facility orientation required before first shift (Monday 7:00AM CT sessions)

Experience: 2 years of Level III/IV NICU experience in the last 5 years

License: Active and unencumbered Minnesota RN license

Certifications: BLS, NRP

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide critical care nursing to premature and critically ill newborns and infants

- Manage ventilated infants, monitoring, IV/central lines, drips and medication calculations

- Respond rapidly to changes in condition and participate in neonatal resuscitation

- Support and educate families and document care accurately in the EHR

Requirements

• - Must have 2 years of NICU experience (Level III/IV preferred)
• - Active and unencumbered Minnesota RN license
• - Active BLS Certification (AHA only)
• - Active NRP Certification
• - Epic experience preferred
• - Negative TB within last 12 months
• - Hep B Series or Titer
• - MMR Series or Titer
• - Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
• - Varicella Series or Titer
