The Gig

• HUNGRY is hosting a large scale catering gig for a client in the Houston area. We are seeking delivery drivers with experience operating 26ft trucks, a strong understanding of food safety, and customer service skills. Gig drivers will assist with loading, transport, and unloading of food and catering supplies for our client's event.
• We specifically need drivers available on the Orientation and Gig dates below
• Deliveries will last approximately 12 hours on delivery dates below

• November 2nd (virtual) & November 6th (on-site)

• Gig Delivery Dates:
• November 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, and 21st
• High priority for drivers available on these dates

• Hours:
• 8am-8pm
• Seeking drivers who are available for the entire 12 hour shift (8am-8pm)

• Pay:
• Daily payout for 8am-8pm shift: $240.00
• Equivalent to approximately $20/hr

• Comfortable loading, driving, and unloading a 26ft truck
• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, & ability to pass MVR/BG check

• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event/delivery are executed.
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events

Requirements

• Operate a 26ft rental truck
• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, & ability to pass MVR/BG check
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• 18+ years of age.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Food service, catering, or event experience is a plus.
