Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter (VP level)

Underwrites complex commercial loan products, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, tax credit, and asset-based facilities. Evaluates cash flow, collateral, and borrowing base to develop clear credit recommendations. Partners with relationship managers by providing credit insight and analysis. Monitors and supports existing credit relationships and participates in loan committee discussions to ensure informed credit decisions. May occasionally mentor and guide junior credit staff.

• Strong underwriting expertise across multiple commercial lending sectors
• Advanced ability to analyze cash flow, collateral, and borrowing base/asset coverage
• Sound judgment to produce clear, supportable credit recommendations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with relationship managers and stakeholders
• Experience monitoring credit performance and assisting with risk management
• Comfort presenting analysis in loan committee settings
• Leadership and mentorship capability for junior credit staff
