Perioperative Medicine Physician

Full-time position split between Santa Rosa, California AND San Rafael, California

Join the Perioperative Medicine team that serves both locations and focus on helping patients safely prepare for surgery through comprehensive medical evaluation and optimization. Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday schedule, no call, no work on weekends or official holidays
• Hybrid work opportunity with remote and in-office practice

Position Overview

Provide comprehensive preoperative evaluations, medical risk assessment, and perioperative optimization for surgical patients. Responsibilities include managing acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinating diagnostic testing and specialty referrals, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients are medically ready for surgery.

Practice Locations

• 3 days at Santa Rosa Medical Center: Adult patients only; hybrid remote and in-office.
• 2 days San Rafael Medical Center: Adult patients only (there is potential for pediatric patients if Board certified in Family Medicine); in-office only.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Interest in preventive care, risk assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration
