This position assumes responsibility for and responds to assigned departmental maintenance needs. Maintains the appearance of the facility grounds including lawns, shrubs, plant beds, parking lots, entrances, etc. Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair. Other duties may include electrical work, mechanical repairs and other duties relating to maintenance.

Assist in the maintenance of all SMHCS grounds in order to provide a safe; clean; and healing environment for patients; families; and employees.

• Performs maintenance on equipment and systems as required.
• Performs manual duties are requested
• Performs general repairs and mechanic duties.
• Performs daily cleaning of assigned areas.

Mon.-Fri. (7:30am - 4pm) Full time

HIgh School Diploma Or GED Required

Previous exp. a plus
