As an Audio Visual Integration Technician, you’ll install, configure, and maintain audiovisual systems for customer environments. You’ll bring together audio, video, control systems, and computer networking, then test each component to ensure it works as intended. Your work combines hands-on installation, technical troubleshooting, and responsive customer service.
As an Audio Visual Integration Technician, you’ll install, configure, and maintain audiovisual systems for customer environments. You Are:
- A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn, grow, and improve. You enjoy hands-on work and prefer being in the field. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
You Have:
- Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A dependable work history, strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a team-oriented attitude.
Your Location:
- 2830 W State Rd 84 Ft Lauderdale FL 33312
Your Schedule:
- Full Time - 40 hours per week
- Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4pm (with on call service rotation)
Your Manager:
- Keith, Director of Operations
Your Contribution to Genesis Automation Inc:
- Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
- Install and mount TVs, speakers, cameras, access points, and control devices
- Read system drawings to plan installations and adapt to scope changes in the field
- Build, wire, and organize equipment racks
- Setup and configuration of devices
- Troubleshoot devices, wiring, networking, and connectivity issues, and support on-call service as needed
Your Ideal Knowledge/Experience:
- AV, IT, or low-voltage installation experience (preferred)
- Exposure to Crestron, Control4, Vantage, or Lutron systems (a plus!)
Genesis Automation Inc's Contribution to You:
- $28-$50/hr based on experience
- Medical - 50% covered
- Dental and Vision - employee paid
