About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing full-service general contractor with self-performed site development capabilities and a strong commitment to expanding its multifamily construction portfolio. Having successfully delivered residential housing projects and established a growing presence in the multifamily market, the organization is entering an exciting phase of growth with multiple large-scale developments preparing to break ground.

ln this Building and Construction Multifamily Project Manager role you will:

• Manage ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and overall project performance.
• Lead multiple active projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved.
• Collaborate with field leadership, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership teams throughout the construction process.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor project financials, change orders, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Support the development and mentorship of junior project management and field personnel.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Multifamily Project Manager in Rochester, NY should have:

• Proven background managing multifamily construction projects.
• Experience overseeing ground-up residential developments, ideally including projects exceeding 100 units.
• Demonstrated success completing at least two multifamily projects within the past 18-24 months.
• Strong leadership and team-development capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented construction environment.
• Stable employment history with progressive responsibility in construction project management.
• Preferred experience working with a self-performing general contractor.
