Role Description The Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abilene, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings, following all applicable codes and safety standards. The Electrician will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, replace or repair faulty wiring, fixtures, panels, and components, and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. The role also involves reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, coordinating with team members and clients, and completing accurate documentation of work performed. The Electrician may assist with related HVAC electrical connections and support emergency or after-hours service calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electricity and fundamental electrical principles applicable to residential and commercial environments.
• Proficiency in electrical work, including installation of wiring, panels, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national codes.
• Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Effective troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical problems, identify root causes, and implement safe, timely solutions.
• Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts as they relate to system design, load calculations, and circuit layout.
• Valid electrician license or certification for the state of Texas, with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation, and use standard electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Commitment to safety practices, strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and professional communication with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in residential and/or commercial electrical service; HVAC-related electrical experience is a plus.
