The Fourth Party Risk and Compliance Specialist (RCS) RCS Analyst will work within U.S. Bank’s Risk Management & Compliance Business Line as part of the Corporate Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) group. The Analyst will build strong relationships with TPRM, RCS Partners, and Business Lines to build and maintain working knowledge of TPRM requirements and RCS stakeholders.

The Analyst’s primary responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of our Third Parties’ abilities to manage their own third parties (the Bank’s Fourth Parties) by reviewing questionnaire submissions (including policy or program information submissions) to ensure that they have appropriate controls to vet, monitor and maintain their third parties. The RCS role includes assessment reviews, consulting, partnership with Business lines and Third Parties for remediation, finding management, as well as ongoing projects to drive enhancements to the program and process. The Analyst is expected to work independently, represent U.S. Bank by exemplifying our core values, and make risk-based decisions with confidence.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Two to three years of experience in an applicable risk management environment

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong project management, negotiation, and strategic planning skills

  • Third party (vendor) risk management experience

  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, information security, risk management frameworks

  • Experience in Archer eGRC, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Self-driven, high attention to detail

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
