We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Senior Project Manager in our Milwaukee office.

Transportation Engineer/Project Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.

  • The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.

  • Project engineering and management.

  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.

  • Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.

  • Professional society involvement.

In order to be considered for our Transportation Engineer/Project Manager position, candidates must possess the following basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design

  • Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards

  • PE license in WI

  • Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development

  • Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a plus

  • Staff management and proven leadership experience preferred

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage
