Position Description


What does a great Client Solutions Consultant do?


The Client Solutions Consultant is accountable for pre-sales, demand generation and proposal response activities supporting Fiserv’s Unified Wealth Platform (“UWP”). You will work closely with the Director of Business Solutions Strategy and Fiserv account executives to assess, pursue and successfully close sale opportunities and pursuits. Consultants are responsible for developing high quality pre-sales presentations, crafting solutions and workflows based on customer requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and general support of business development efforts nationwide.


  • You will thrive by being inquisitive, flexible, and confident collaborating with a diverse array of customers ranging from senior executives to day-to-day users.


  • You will help establish and deliver a standardized product demonstration process that utilizes existing product capabilities to improve and accelerate the buyer decisioning process.


  • You will support the pre-sales process to help expand the sales pipeline, accelerate revenue growth, and provide cross-selling and new sales support.


  • You should possess a strong blend of business and technical savvy, big-picture vision, and the innate ability to work across teams to build a prospect centric proposal that includes all elements of Fiserv’s pre-sales lifecycle.


  • You will partner with the Investment Services Sales Organization to actively support their needs in delivering focused solution demonstrations, proposal management support and timely responses to RFP’s and other requests for product information.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field


  • 5 years experience within the Financial Services Industry


  • Ability to understand and appreciate a prospect’s specific business challenges and the factors leading them to contemplate leveraging our solution and craft proposed solutions that address these challenges head on


  • Skilled and articulate in demonstrating moderately complex Proof of Concepts and system demonstrations within tight deadlines; sometimes at short notice


  • Possesses consultative selling skills that include strong team and relationship building prowess


  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and compelling presentations


  • Technical ability to respond to RFI and RFP questionnaires


  • Ability to research industry changes and provide opportunity map for the sales team

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:


  • Technical and financial product management experience


  • Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills as well as heightened attention to detail


  • Experience with Wealth Management and Advisory Accounts (including SMA’s, Rep-as-PM, UMA, etc.)


  • Previous knowledge of Security APL and Managed Account workflows desirable but not required.


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, under tight deadlines, while maintaining a consistently high level of quality on all deliverables and assignments.


  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office with strong experience in advanced features of MS Word and Excel

Travel required :


  • Client Solutions Consultant can expect to travel up to 50%
