Role Summary:


Opportunity to join a world class team of high performing technical experts that will help set the standards and direction for our Global Supply Chain for advanced manufacturing technologies. This role will drive the vision for advanced processing, testing, and application practices while supporting introduction of processes for new product development and existing manufacturing lines. Responsible for supporting product and process compliance to regulatory requirements through documentation.


Essential Responsibilities:


Key responsibilities:


•Support process development documentation from initial engineering feasibility through manufacturing implementation including verification and validation activities, equipment qualification, and initial production.


•Supplier selection & qualification activities


•Responsible for product and process development, implementation, improvement and control through documentation


•Provides technical support and guidance to product development, installed base engineering, sourcing and operations teams to ensure proper implementation


•Work with QA, sourcing and operations cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, effective processes, in conformance with global and local procedures


•Participate in the development of product specifications, focusing on measurable quality attributes and performance indicators and assist product development teams to develop a specification set that meets program objectives and that can be validated


•Contribute to New Process Introduction projects in areas of documentation, PIPO, test & validation requirements, regulatory requirements, specification development, measurable outcomes, hazard and safety analyses and other quality activities necessary to meet project objectives


•Support Transducer COE initiatives with wide business impact and ensure to share best practices across the Global Supply Chain


•Drive Transducer COE initiatives across sites while providing business-wide impact and enabling sharing of best practices across the Global Supply Chain


•Work in an environment including method development, equipment maintenance, sample preparation, maintaining EHS compliance, and general housekeeping duties.


•Support the Transducer COE manufacturing process technology roadmap development leverage this to help set the direction of what our manufacturing and suppliers should be investing & including influence of GRC activities as necessary


•Versed in spirit of driving continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance. Work with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand

  1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position


  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines


  3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required


  4. Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:


Required Qualifications:



  1. BS in Engineering or related technical degree or Associates Degree and 2 years experience, or High School diploma with 5 years in production, engineering


  2. Knowledge in Disco and ADT equipment


  3. Experience with hands-on use of in process test equipment, processing equipment, building prototypes, etc.


  4. Experience with DFM tools


  5. Ability to work independently


  6. Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization


  7. Ability to identify and implement Best Practices


  8. Product and Process Development experience


  9. Demonstrated program or project management skills


  10. Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality


  11. Willing to travel domestic and internationally up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:



  1. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering


  2. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities


  3. 5+ years industrial experience in Material, Chemical or Bio Engineering


  4. 6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified


  5. Experiences in Process Intensive manufacturing


  6. Solid working knowledge of GEHC QMS procedures for GMP


  7. Experienced developing tools and templates


  8. Experience working with global teams


  9. Experience in operating and developing methods for analytical techniques
