Overview of Job Function :

The Portfolio Market Strategy Director (“The Director”) is part of the Product Strategy Group that focuses on driving business growth in Verint’s Customer Engagement Solutions (CES) division.The Director will be responsible for driving Work Force Optimization go-to-market strategy for the contact center, developing offerings and then building tools, messaging and sales enablement materials to support market growth.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify, build the business case for, and evangelize innovative solution and service offerings in the customer engagement solutions market that are driven by the competitive landscape, market dynamics, industry trends and customers’ articulated needs and pain points.

  • Research and recommend partners or acquisitions to fill current or potential gaps in the portfolio.

  • Understand the dynamic competitive landscape, both legacy players and the impact of new entrants both generally and for owned offerings.

  • Partner with product management and other stakeholders to identify and quantify go-to-market risk and effort for new offering candidates.

  • Develop offering milestones and metrics based on input from senior leadership, product management and other internal stakeholders.

  • Own the offering, incorporating internal and external feedback to monitor progress and, if needed, work to adjust execution plans accordingly to meet and exceed revenue objectives.

  • Partner with marketing and sales enablement to create sales collateral and training that reinforces offering positioning and messaging.

  • Drive and deliver enablement for sales, presales, partners and services organizations in support of new offering launches.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, technology, business or equivalent experience.

  • Has a minimum of 8 years management experience with a progressive increase of responsibility, coupled with 12+ years in software product marketing, product management or similar strategic operations.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and work effectively in a highly-matrixed environment to garner support, transfer enthusiasm, gather ideas, spark execution and resolve conflicts.

  • Effective at interacting with a wide range of audiences, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communications abilities.

  • Effective problem solver with strong business acumen, creativity, and analytical skills.

  • Adept at quickly understanding new technologies and identifying business value.

  • Strong people management skills

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time both domestic and international.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

  • The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a technology organization that specializes in cloud-based solutions.

  • Familiarity with contact center or workforce optimization software solutions.
