Description


As a Manager, Insights
& Analytics for Nike Direct Stores & Service you will be using data to
help inform store leadership on the best path forward to better serve our Nike
Direct consumers and their evolving needs.
You will provide insights that will shape our strategy using a
consumer-centric data set that will influence all business aspects including
Product, Service, Environment and Membership. You will support a cross-functional team on
initiatives that impact our global store fleet and help guide our partners on
how to interpret and understand data-driven results.


This position
requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong technical and
analytical skills, high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal
communication. Candidates with financial, strategic planning or analytics
experience in a retail environment preferred. The right individual will be on
top of retail trends; understand the intricacies of a wholesale versus retail
model and understand the opportunities that can drive the Nike brand.


Key
Responsibilities:


  • Collaboratewith the Nike Direct Stores & Service team to identify opportunities wherewe can use data to make better decisions.


  • Buildnovel methods of analyzing data that could lead us to new insights or dispelmyths about old ways of thinking.


  • Deliverpresentations grounded in data that identify key trends, themes and offerrecommendations on solutions to key questions.


  • Serveas the authority on analytics across several workstreams, providing aperspective on what data we have, what analytics can tell us about it, and how wecan use it to optimize the best experience for our consumers and our business.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor'sdegree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.


  • Minimum5 years of relevant professional experience.


  • AdvancedSQL skills required. Experience inquerying big data environments preferred (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, Snowflake,Databricks).


  • AdvancedMicrosoft Excel skills required.


  • Strongpresentation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills,including results packaging and development of management presentations.


  • Experiencesynthesizing and packaging complex analyses and delivering results tonon-technical audiences including senior leadership teams.


  • Shownability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develophypotheses and make recommendations required.


  • Abilityto develop strong partnerships across a multi-layered organization required.


  • Excellenttask management capabilities to develop multiple tracks of work and requirements,appropriately prioritizing projects based on business impact and criticaltimelines.


  • Experience in developing an understanding ofcustomers, competitors, and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel andfootwear market preferred. Some familiaritywith Nike product types and how they are marketed and distributed is also preferred.
