GENERAL FUNCTION: Acts as subject matter expert in assigned department, ensures that reporting standards are met and maintained. Responsible for prioritizing work and delegating tasks to ensure proper coverage of functions. Monitors and reviewstheworklists and workflow to ensure that all business needs and goals are being met. Oversees the productivity of the unit and reports to supervisor/manager any issues regarding the work assigned. Works closely with the supervisor to ensure thatallbusinessand customer needs are being met in a timely manner. Responsible for training and developing employees with regard to staff functions and processes.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures thatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank#s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


  • Provides support to Supervisor for team as requested:

  • Collects regular assigned account lists

  • Provides additional coaching support to the training and development of team members.

  • Supports Supervisor in the up-training of staff, ensuring staff has a full understanding of departmental and Bank procedures as well as individual job responsibilities, goals and performance standards

  • Assists in managing the day-to-day workflow of employees

  • Actively participates in collections strategy discussions with the collections management team.

  • Ensures that bank policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines and investor standards are followed.

  • Flag potential issues and recommend solutions.

  • Handles escalated calls when necessary in a professional manner.

  • Assists in building processes to deliver ultimate customer satisfaction.

  • Maintains a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer and employee business confidential.

  • Maintains a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and service offered.

  • Continuously increase knowledge and skills through self-motivation, formal education, seminars and in-house training.

  • Uses experience to make recommendations for process improvement, identify escalation issues and suggest solutions

  • ther duties as required.



  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

  • Minimum 2 year collections experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including customer and co-worker interaction

  • Proven leadership experience and aptitude

  • Proven ability to handle escalated customer problem resolution

  • Demonstrated initiative.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Utilize sound judgment in decision-making and problem solving.

  • Need to have flexibility in scheduling.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Strong knowledge of the keyboard, personal computers, and various software packages.

  • Working knowledge of collection processes and procedures required.


  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
