Responsibilities:


  • Analyzes data to understand project trends and risks. Recommends adjustments to leadership based on results of analytics


  • Assists with the development, maintenance, and implementation of standard operating procedures in PMO, and seek methods to continuously improve organizational processes


  • Performs project reviews for compliance to project methodology and governance framework established by the PMO


  • Manages PMO project intake process


  • Develops and generates weekly, monthly, and yearly metric reporting


  • Maintains and updates documentation and support tools


  • Supports PMO administrative functions


  • Prioritizes tasks to balance the immediate and long-term needs of the business


  • Other Duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:


  • Ability to organize, analyze, problem solve, and plan with a strong attention to detail


  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Strong knowledge of business applications, specifically MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, JIRA, and Planview (Innotas)


  • Must possess the ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines


  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and demonstrate good judgment & facilitation skills; as well as being adaptable to changing priorities

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor s degree


  • Working knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and procedures


  • 3+ years of PMO / Project Coordinator experience


  • Experience in Project reporting and Resource Management or a related area such as Workforce Planning, Project Scheduling, Time booking or Business Change

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Expert knowledge of business applications, specifically Planview (Innotas) and Jira


  • Experience with change management


  • 2+ years of experience working within a regulated utility
