HSS Telehealth Project Manager


We are seeking a bright, motivated, independent, and creative out of the box thinker to join the HSS Telehealth Team as our new Telehealth Project Manager. In this role, you will play an important role in facilitating a wide range of administrative and operational activities to enable and scale telehealth at HSS.


You will work closely with the Director of Telehealth, HSS Service Line operational and administrative teams, HSS clinical personnel (surgeons, physicians, and their care teams), and IT operational and technical leaders to support implementation, scale, and adoption of Telehealth at HSS.


You should have a unique attention to detail, an ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, a desire to challenge yourself in an emerging and dynamic field, a solid technical background or ideally some experience with telehealth, and a familiarity and/or experience with Epic or other electronic health records operational workflows.


The Project Manager will:


  • Lead, implement, and scale high-priority HSS telehealth projects - help ensure project success and promote best in class telehealth services


  • Maintain project tempo through close communication with key operational, administrative, clinical, and technical stakeholders throughout the project cycle


  • Rely on human-centered design approaches and leverage the Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) cycle to enable iterative approaches that promote learning to inform scale


  • Maintain detailed project management documentation, map workflows, author project charters, track project progress, leverage project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, etc.) and implementation matrixes as needed to maintain project progress


  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the HSS virtual care patient and clinician experience through close collaboration with both user groups- identify gaps, pain points, and areas to improve to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience


  • Collaborate closely and communicate progress and challenges with a range of key system functions managers and administrators as needed (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Managed Care, IT)


  • Spearhead and promote telehealth growth across the organization to promote cultural change in alignment with organizational goals, values, and priorities


  • Identify relevant project metrics- both clinical and operational to measure impact, and translate this data into actionable insights and compelling deliverables for key stakeholders as needed


  • Support the training, operational lift, and on-boarding of new physicians and care team members to take part in new programs


  • Support creation of telehealth patient as well as clinician educational materials and resources

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree.


  • Five years of previous experience either in a healthcare setting or technology company (start-up experience a plus).


  • Proven track record of project management skills, including experience in launching projects, identifying and measuring outcomes, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and communicating key findings in easily understood ways to leadership to supporting scale.


  • A proven ability to think outside the box, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and either work independently or as part of the team when needed.


  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills experience- you should be comfortable working with key stakeholders across an organization, and have an ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships


  • Proficiency with MS Office, including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio and PowerPoint, Tableau or other data visualization tools experience a plus. Must possess ability to learn new software tools & systems as required.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Telehealth experience, ideally in a healthcare operational setting preferred.


  • Experience and/or familiarity with human-centered design principles, processes, and deliverables (ie personas, customer journey mapping, product mapping, etc.)


  • Experience and/or exposure to Epic or other electronic health record operational workflows and processes.
