Job Summary:

This position will assist Carrier Service Coordinators in implementing Carrier Packets to get all required documents into our system and confirm that Carrier meets all J.B. Hunt requirements for the business segment they will service. They will update information as needed with regard to insurance requirements upon expiration.

Job Description:

The successful candidate for this role will:

  • Have professional communication both oral and written.

  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

  • Possess organizational skills and good time management.

  • Ability to adjust to changes in work flow and work processes.

  • Be able to handle a variety of tasks, work at a fast pace and manage stress.

  • Be self-motivated and well organized to perform job duties without frequent detailed instruction.

  • Motivated to work as a team toward common goals and objectives.

  • Ability to document information and make quick intelligent decisions when necessary.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all parties involved while maintaining a professional attitude.

  • Keep management informed of decisions and or issues that may require manager involvement, further research or communication with other departments or carriers.

What does it take to be considered?

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Have an understanding of basic computer systems and programs

  • Have strong phone and email communication skills

  • Must be able to deal effectively and tactfully with drivers and other employees in a fast-paced, stressful work environment

  • Be able to multi-task effectively while producing quality work
