The position requires 2 years of experience workingwith pediatric and adult patients as an advanced practice provider in an UrgentCare setting.

Requirements for Physician Assistants


  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Physician AssistantStudies


  • Unrestricted license to practice as a PhysicianAssistant in the State of Colorado.


  • Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by theNational Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).


  • Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in thecourse of practice.


  • Eligible to provide services reimbursable services andmaintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.


  • Eligible to provide services with no sanctions orexclusion from either the Health and Human Services/Office of InspectorsGeneral (HHS/OIG) or the General Services Administration’s (GSA) List ofParties Excluded from Federal Programs.


  • Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriatepractice privileges.


  • Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medicalstaff service privileging process.


  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac LifeSupport (ACLS) Certifications issued by the American Heart Association.

Requirements for NursePractitioners


  • Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of anaccredited Nurse Practitioner program


  • Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the AmericanNurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or Nurse Practitioner Certificationissued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board(AANPCB)


  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by theState Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privilegesunder the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement


  • Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriatepractice privileges


  • Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medicalstaff service privileging process.
