DELTA is seeking an Intermediate Qualified, Sr. Acquisition Analyst to work at our New Jersey Avenue office in DC.


General Description:

The contractor shall provide on-demand timely professional support Senior Acquisition Support services to the Large Surface Combatant Project Manage for Team Ships. The requirement is for a senior level DOD Technical action officer and capable SME to provide LSC Leadership and PMS 500 Staff with technical/acquisition/programmatic support, program start up and knowledge management, brief and document development, action tracking, communication support to include messaging, requirements development, proactive thinking, and liaising between the LSC Project Manager and the SDM/Technical stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

The contractor will proactively and re-actively respond short and long term asking from LSC/PMS 500 Leadership, coordinating as necessary with technical stakeholders, to provide quality on time products to include briefs, point papers, and analysis. Also, will work strategic initiatives to assess LSC AoA data and to make recommendations on gathering, filing, controlling, and maintaining technical data for rapid use in programmatic preparations and MS documentation. The scope includes developing strategic initiatives that focus on Program stand up, Technical Stakeholder Liaising and AoA oversight/completion.



  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 15 years of Experience in DOD ACAT 1 Acquisitions and/or Technical Programmatics
  • MS Suite – Specifically Power Point, Word, Access, and Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Proactive and excellent customer service
  • Creative, poised, and flexible supporting TSFO leadership

Preferred Skills:

  • 15 years of Experience with NAVY Shipbuilding Acquisitions.
  • Sharepoint Knowledge/Experience
  • Pre-Milestone A/AoA Experience for an ACAT 1 Shipbuilding Program.
