GCI's Sales and Campaigns Analyst is responsible to leverage data driven insight tools to generate recommendations for market, product and revenue growth. Track sales campaigns, report and analyze results and align to business goals. This position works closely with cross functional teams within sales/marketing groups. Responsible for measuring activity, managing partner reporting, and concluding performance data insights. Participate in sales preparation and proper execution of target sales campaigns for product sales.

Essential Duties of the Sales and Campaigns Analyst:

  • Structure and develop recommendations by leveraging analytics to implement and enhance data tracking; Build and maintain monthly reports to track and analyze performance insights.

  • Partner with various teams from across the organization to leverage reporting tools that could augment current reporting capabilities to understand customer interactions. Participate with reporting process improvements

  • Track KPI's and performance analysis; Collaborate and build effective relationships with business partners regarding promotional efforts; documenting key learning processes and experiments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience within a business intelligence sales/marketing environment

  • Experience with advance analytics modeling tools such as R, Python or comparable languages and business intelligence visualization tools

  • Proficient with using multiple reporting tools and ability to draw insight from complex data sets

  • Proven experience in SQL.

  • Excel proficiency required

  • Analytical ability to evaluate information and identify trends and key issues.

  • Ability to make and support decisions with a high-level attention to detail.

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills required

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under time constraints, and in an environment with changing priorities and goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to take charge of projects and initiatives across multiple departments.

  • Ability to work in a team toward a shared goal.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a business intelligence, sales, marketing, or developing campaigns environment. Experience within a telecommunications industry desired.

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Associates degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology (IT) or related field required. In addition to minimum experience required, a combination of relevant education and experience sufficient to perform the duties may be substituted for degree on a year for year basis.

  • Certifications: Industry specific certifications highly valued and may contribute toward education requirement.

Physical Requirements: Daily tasks include use of computer, often requiring consecutive hours at a time; review & analysis of sales data (hard copy and electronic); long periods of focused mental and visual attention to documents. Maneuvering workplace typically requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and seeing. Standing for long periods of time to observe and collect feedback and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences. Frequent decision making and concentration.

Working Conditions: Duties are performed in an office environment or inside under pleasant climatic conditions. Work can be intense and stressful due to time/resource limitations and ever-changing goals and deadlines. Travel; possible extended hours, weekend, holiday or before/after hours' work may be needed.

The company and its subsidiaries operate in a 24/7 environment providing critical services to Alaskans and may need to respond to public and safety matters or other business emergencies. Due to business needs employees may be contacted outside of the normal business hours to respond to the immediate emergency. As such, you will be requested to provide emergency after hours contact numbers, to include your home and cell phone numbers if you have those services.

Driving Requirements (if applicable): Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
