A risk-savvy and compliance-smart expert in the industry. You stay current with the latest cyber threats and help clients spot them before they happen. You work well across technology teams to implement the latest security frameworks and put security systems and processes in place. And, when it comes to creating IT risk assessments, you tackle the design and launch with ease.

The work:

We are seeking an Incident Response Manager for all activities associated with Incident Response for solution. Directly responsible for the managed of 24x7 Incident Response team to respond to cyber incidents occurring on the platform. This includes identification, containment, and mitigation of identified security incidents within the platform. The Incident Response Manager will help establish and build out the Incident Response Program to include the incident response team, incident response policies and procedures, IR playbooks, documentation, incident escalation workflows, forensic analysis capabilities, Root Cause Analysis, Troubleshooting, response actions, notifications, and reporting. Work directly with the XDR SOC team to understand detected incident, impacts, containment strategies, and response activities. Coordinate and response to incidents as they occur. Provide oversight, leadership and guidance to IR analysts responsible for containing and mitigation of incidents in timely manner. Experience with NIST 800-62 Incident Response controls and documentation as well US-CERT Incident Reporting guidelines. Executive reporting and incident escalation to program leadership.


Here's what you need:

  • 3 or more years of experience

working with Incident Response processes, network forensics and intrusion patterns, malware analysis, and cyber security trends

  • 3 or more years of experience in Risk Threat Assessment
  • Experience identifying various types of events and incidents and applying the right response framework for each (i.e. information mishandling, security vulnerability, system exploit, malware infection, etc.)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies such as VMware

  • Certifications:
  • Security+
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

Important Eligibility Information:

  • United States Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
